Vestiges of Light
Vestiges of Light is a series of paintings conceived as fragments of an ancient world shaped by time, nature and human longing.
Built through layers of plaster, textured paste, wax and oil, the works carry the material presence of weathered walls and archaeological remains. Human figures, branches, sea-worn forms, sacred signs and fading traces of language emerge from surfaces suspended between revelation and disappearance.
Across the series, the visible world reaches toward the unseen. Light remains not simply as illumination, but as a spiritual trace preserved within matter — a quiet presence connecting memory, fragility and the enduring human desire to approach the divine.
