Fruit of Silence is a contemporary mixed media work where the human presence emerges as a quiet, timeless form.

The central figure is inspired by the stillness and symmetry of ancient Egyptian imagery, while the worn surface, warm earth colors, and vessel of figs recall the frescoed walls of Pompeii.

The figs appear as a simple symbol of abundance and the continuity of life. The painting brings these two ancient visual memories together in a contemporary form.

Subtle textures and muted tones create a contemplative atmosphere, inviting a slower, more intimate way of seeing.
